​Farrow Jamieson + Ricoh NZ Planting Action Day

​Our team at Farrow Jamieson has partnered with CarbonInvoice to bring you something special — our second Farrow Jamieson + Ricoh NZ Planting Action Day! This day is part of our commitment to doing good locally and putting real trees in real ground. Last year 24 of us planted 1,145 native seedlings. This year there's room for 50 and to do even more. 🌳🌳🌳🌳

​What's it all about?

​We're teaming up again with our partner CarbonInvoice for a morning of native tree planting, good vibes, and great company. This isn't your typical corporate event — we're getting our hands dirty, planting native trees alongside our clients as part of our sustainability journey.

​It's your chance to escape the desk, spend proper time with the Farrow Jamieson and Ricoh NZ teams, and actually make a tangible impact while having a blast doing it.

​The itinerary:

​• 9:00 - 9:15 AM → Meet onsite at Chamberlin Property, 314 Twilight Road, Brookby. Carparking is available, but please carpool if you can (45 mins from the city)
• 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM → Walk to site, sign in, site introduction, health and safety, and planting demo
• 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM → Tree Planting Action 🌳
• 12:30 PM - 12:45 PM → Group photo, declare victory & prize-giving
• 12:45 PM - 1:30 PM → BBQ lunch & networking 🌭
• After 1:30 PM → Back in Auckland city by mid-afternoon

​What's to expect?

​• Something different from typical corporate events — this is impactful and generates authentic content for your own sustainability story.
• Guided tree planting led by experts Zealand at the Chamberlin Property, part of the Papakura Stream Restoration Project. Since 2021 the project has planted more than 168,000 native plants in the catchment.
• A little friendly competition — prizes for most trees planted, best team effort, and most enthusiastic planter. Last year's tree suit will be making an appearance.
• Quality time with colleagues and clients in a setting that creates natural conversation and team bonding.
• Photos and video from the day will be shared with all attendees — perfect content to showcase Farrow Jamieson and Ricoh's commitment to local environmental restoration.
• Music and good vibes throughout the planting activity.
• Minimal effort required — we handle everything from logistics to equipment, you simply need to show up.

​• All spades, tools and equipment provided • High-quality native seedlings • Gloves, hi-vis vests and sunblock • Expert planting guidance and support from Conservation Volunteers New Zealand • Site preparation and best practice ongoing maintenance to maximise survival rates • Professional photography and videography • Music and speakers for atmosphere during planting • BBQ lunch and refreshments

​Please bring

​• Refillable water bottle (water and refreshments on site) • Sturdy, comfortable footwear (gumboots, work boots or hiking shoes ideal) • Lightweight long sleeved clothing and trousers — these protect you from cuts, scratches and insect bites • Rain jacket and hat • Your energy 💪

​This event is for the Farrow Jamieson and Ricoh New Zealand Ltd teams and our invited guests.

​No planting experience needed. Everyone can plant a tree, so come and get amongst it.

​If the weather makes the site unsafe we'll let you know the day before and find another date.
