AI 203–204: AI Software Engineering (Workflows & Cloud Agents)
AI 203–204: AI-Augmented Software Engineering
(Subtitle: Workflows, Multi-Model Orchestration & Cloud Agents)
Module 2 of the GOAB AI Engineering Masterclass Series
Dates: Tuesday, October 20 & Thursday, October 22, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PHT (Both days)
Format: Live Online via Zoom (Replays, code artifacts & verifiable Module Certificate included)
Overview
AI coding assistants can generate features fast, but unguided code generation quickly leads to compounding technical debt, vague specifications, and brittle systems. Moving beyond basic autocomplete into reliable production engineering requires disciplined workflows and multi-model coordination.
In this hands-on, two-session masterclass, Senior Software Engineer Prince John Santillan breaks down his active AI-augmented engineering pipeline. You will learn how to structure development using a systematic spec-to-review process, orchestrate multiple frontier foundation models simultaneously, and deploy Grok Bot alongside Cursor Cloud Agents to automate real engineering tasks asynchronously.
The Curriculum
Day 1: A Disciplined AI Software Development Process (Tuesday, Oct 20)
The "Grill to Review" AI Dev Framework (inspired by Matt Pocock): Moving methodically through Grill -> Specs -> Tickets -> Implement -> Review to ensure code is predictable, modular, and testable before it hits your repo.
Multi-Model Orchestration: Coordinating Claude, Codex, Cursor, and Grok across different stages of the development lifecycle—delegating specification grilling to one model, implementation to another, and code audits to a third.
Taming Non-Determinism: Practical strategies to prevent hallucinations and keep AI-assisted refactors within established architectural bounds.
Day 2: Grok Bot, Cursor Cloud Agents & Asynchronous Automations (Thursday, Oct 22)
Grok Bot in Production Dev: What Grok Bot is, core capabilities, and how to plug it directly into your daily software development cycle.
Cursor Cloud Agents: Setting up, configuring, and pairing Cloud Agents with Grok Bot for autonomous background programming tasks.
Routines & Background Automations: Building custom asynchronous scripts so your agent setup handles repetitive dev chores, issue triage, and boilerplate creation in the background.
The Masterclass Difference: Global Peer Learning & Live Systems
Recorded tutorials, docs, and prompt guides are great for high-level theory, but production engineering requires context-specific feedback.
In major tech centers like Manila, engineering leads and CTOs meet in person to compare real-world patterns, war stories, and system failure modes. Geeks On A Beach (GOAB) brings that same high-caliber collaborative room directly to you—giving builders everywhere, from regional hubs to overseas dev teams, an authentic space to solve real problems together.
Live Stack & Workflow Dialogue: Prince walks through his live developer environment, sharing how he diagnoses custom workflows, API bottlenecks, and daily dev friction in real time—equipping you with practical blueprints that you can adapt directly to your own codebase and stack.
Collaborative Senior Peer Network: Brainstorm alongside fellow senior developers, architects, and engineering managers navigating the exact same real-world integration hurdles and model constraints.
Verifiable Module Certificate: Earn your official Certificate of Completion either by attending the sessions live or by submitting the post-session replay assignment.
Who Should Attend
