Creating Green Career Pathways and Placement Opportunities
As the Bronx advances toward a more resilient and inclusive green economy, it is critical to ensure that local residents, particularly those historically excluded from opportunity, can access and succeed in green careers. This roundtable will convene key workforce development partners to explore models that effectively link training with career placement, with a focus on justice-involved individuals and communities experiencing long-term disconnection from employment.
This session will support the design of the Bronx Green Jobs Center by focusing on strategies that integrate green skills training with long-term placement, supportive services, and coordination across public agencies and nonprofit partners.
