Join us for a special screening of this short documentary film that traces the untold story of how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Civil Rights Leaders used basketball to mobilize a generation of young voters.
The film features interviews with Ambassador Andrew Young, NBA legend Jerry West, former ESPN journalist Jemele Hill, Michael Strautmanis (Advisor to President Obama & EVP of Obama Foundation), and Reginald L. Love, a former Duke basketball player and personal aide to President Barack Obama.
The screening will be followed by a talkback with filmmakers Glenn Kaino and Alexys Feaster, and special guests Dr. Bernice A. King. and Jemele Hill.
Doors open at 10AM. Capacity is limited, and registration does not guarantee entry. Guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
