KINN Men's Group
The KINN Men's group: Grief
Men were never taught to grieve. We were taught to soldier on, stay strong, keep going. And so our losses accumulate — lodged somewhere in the body. As the years pass, we go numb, or get angry and feel deeply isolated and alone. Men are taught to feel one emotion if any - anger. And underneath it all is deep pool of feeling - and aliveness. To grieve is to feel fully alive.
This session is an invitation to change that.
We'll explore our sadness not as a sign that something has gone wrong, but as evidence that something mattered - and something to feel deeply. That grief, when it's welcomed and moved through, doesn't hollow us out — it becomes fertilizer for growth and helps us become more alive. It helps us love - and live -more powerfully.
This is a sacred circle — held by men, for men — where grief is welcomed rather than managed, witnessed rather than fixed. We'll move through teaching, embodied practice, and space for each man to be seen and honored in their grief at the heart of the evening.
Because grief, when it's fully felt, doesn't break us. It opens us back to life.
Facilitated by Matt Auron and Kyle Megrue.
