Step into an unforgettable two-day retreat where wisdom meets embodiment, and training takes on a whole new meaning. Through guided reflection, deep inquiry, embodied engagement, and presencing practices, Shannon Lee and Wasfia Nazreen invite you to reimagine what it truly means to train—not just your body, but your heart, mind, and soul.
Kwoon: Kwoon is the Chinese word for “training hall” or “dojo”. As Shannon's signature practice, kwoon is a journey inward toward personal liberation and aliveness. Working individually, in pairs, and as a group, you will engage in practices that teach you how to observe yourself, stay present, and flow. Step onto the mat and answer the call to know yourself more fully, courageously, and honestly.
Join Shannon and Wasfia as they weave deep insight with humor, grounded awareness, and embodied wisdom to help you reconnect with your essence and awaken your fullest expression.
Come as you are. No experience is required—just curiosity and an open mind. Expect gentle movement, breathwork, guided meditations and reflection practices that anyone can comfortably participate in.
What You’ll Learn
In this retreat, you’ll learn to:
• Cultivate conscious awareness — not as an abstract idea, but as a lived practice you can embody in every moment of your day, even during hectic and turbulent phases of your life.
• Deepen your introspection by shifting from judgment to genuine curiosity — learning to see yourself and the world with the eyes of wonder.
• Embrace the “objective observer” within — that quiet witness who can hold your emotions, patterns, and reactions without getting swept away.
• Reconnect with your senses and presence — learning to stay attuned to what’s real and alive in each moment, even amidst life’s chaos.
• Amplify your curiosity — transforming everyday experiences into gateways for growth and deeper self-knowing.
This is an invitation to fully inhabit life.
Through embodied teachings, guided practices, and open dialogue, you’ll return home with tools to move through your days with greater ease, awareness, and grace — rooted, awake, and deeply curious.
Please bring:
Yoga mat, journal, and pen (Saturday); a cushioned seat and blanket or shawl (optional.)
Lunch for Saturday: You are welome to bring your own food or order in delivery for convenience. KINN is situated right off Abbot Kinney BLVD, and adjoining Main Street— both has plenty of options. We recommend a light meal for lunch as there will be movement in the seond half of Saturday.
