Join fellow Columbia graduate students and alumni ready for the future of talent work
The future of talent management is being built right now. AI agents are already changing how organizations select, develop, and grow their leaders. The people who understand how to work alongside these agents will shape what comes next.
The Growth & Leadership Lab is your chance to get hands-on with that future, not just read about it.
In one evening at the Columbia Career Design Lab in Times Square, you’ll join a small team of Columbia graduate students and alumni, guided by experienced talent practitioners. Together you’ll take on a real work challenge and use AI Talent Agents to turn leadership assessment data into practical solutions.
What you’ll gain
Hands-on AI experience. Design and test AI Talent Agents inside a live agentic talent platform. You’ll practice this skill, not just hear about it.
A stronger network. Meet HCM & IO Psychology students, alumni, and senior talent leaders who face similar challenges.
A story to tell. Leave with a solution you helped build, and a concrete example of applying AI to leadership effectiveness for your next interview or career conversation.
A clearer view of where the field is heading. Learn what changes for HR and talent professionals when AI becomes a working partner.
Who should attend
Columbia graduate students and alumni in Human Capital Management and related programs. It’s for anyone who wants to build practical, future-ready skills in talent management and leadership development. No technical background needed, just curiosity.
