About Event

"Rehydrating Landscapes for Resilient Land Stewardship" with Erin Healy, Mulloon Institute.

Join a global community of land stewards for our next Learning Lab, where environmental engineer Erin Healy from the Australia-based Mulloon Institute will share how rehydration projects can bring degraded lands back to life.

Around the world, land degradation from intensive agricultural practices, forestry, and mining cause the deep and chronic erosion of water tables. As wetlands home to biodiverse communities of animals and plants (which also serve as natural carbon sinks) dry out, cascading effects on critical ecosystems follow. Water is life.

In this session, we’ll explore catchment-based designs and simple, community-driven interventions that can restore soil structure, revive vegetation, and support thriving biodiversity.

Join us for a deep dive into practical tools for land stewards and project leaders working to improve water retention, reduce erosion, build resilience, and create conditions for life to return to land.

Learning Lab is a live, interactive webinar series where land stewards from around the world learn and connect with leading experts in regeneration. Sessions are always recorded and added to Ma Earth's Learning Lab library.
