Lottie will read from her book, Lumi and the Wolf, before leading a forest diary-making activity!
Every ticket includes entry to the event for one parent and one child, as well as a copy of the book that Lottie will sign and dedicate.
Lumi and the Wolf is perfect for readers 8-12+.
What can you expect?
In Lumi and the Wolf, Lumi keeps a Forest Diary, in which she draws and writes what she experiences in nature.
Lottie will be bringing the forest indoors through her forest diary workshop! Whilst looking at natural materials from the forests and listening to ambient nature sounds, your young reader will create their very own Forest Diary, just like Lumi's!
Using the materials provided, they will create their Forest Diary with Lottie's guidance. They will each get a notebook to keep and decorate, and will be guided into ways of drawing and writing about what can seen, heard and experienced in nature.

When I met the wolf for the first time, I had no idea that within a week I'd walk a hundred kilometres to save his life...
When Lumi arrives in Lapland, her aunt and uncle warn her of the wild white wolf. But when Lumi meets him and learns he's being hunted, she decides to do whatever it takes to save his life.
With the help of local boy Oskár, she sets off on a perilous quest across snowy fells to reach the national park where Wolf will be safe. To survive, Lumi must trust the things that make her who she is: her sharp senses, the patterns she sees in the forests, and her fierce determination - before the hunters catch up.
An unforgettable story of friendship, bravery, and belonging, by an award-winning Finnish neurodivergent storyteller. Beautifully illustrated with pages from Lumi's Forest Diary, Lumi and the Wolf is the perfect read for readers 8-12+.
