​Exa is a YC-backed startup (S21) on a mission to redesign internet search for the AI-powered world. Started by a team of ex-MIT and Harvard engineers, we’ve built an embeddings-based search API for LLMs to semantically retrieve high-quality web content. LLMs can use Exa to access the world’s knowledge, so that their generative outputs are grounded in relevant, up-to-date information.
