About ZoomerMedia
If you or your parents grew up in the 1980s or 1990s, chances are Citytv, MuchMusic, Bravo, or SPACE was a regular part of your TV lineup. In 2008, Moses Znaimer, the visionary founder behind those iconic channels, launched ZoomerMedia after recognizing that the audiences who had grown up with them were getting older, while the media industry wasn't evolving to reflect their changing lifestyles. To serve this large yet often overlooked demographic, he assembled a portfolio of television, radio, print, and digital brands dedicated to older adults, whom he dubbed "Zoomers."
As digital media became the world's dominant platform, ZoomerMedia expanded beyond traditional broadcasting by acquiring a collection of popular digital publications, including blogTO, Daily Hive, Curiocity, and their vertical brands - CULTR, Dished, and Offside - as well as the tech-centric MobileSyrup and the classical music and arts-focused LudwigVan. Today, these digital properties operate under the Curiosity Media Group banner, giving ZoomerMedia a major presence across both traditional and digital media.
