Under the Shade of the Mahua
"Under the Shade of the Mahua” -Live Classroom Zine Making Workshop, Digital Exhibition Room, Process Walkthrough & QAMahua Silent Zine is a children's art project where teenagers living in tribal regions of Jharkhand and Odisha-two eastern Indian states- are facilitated to make art, zines and creative objects about their lives. It is a collaboration between artist Shailza, researcher Kuhika and community based organizations YUVA, Bindi International & Agranee.
A digital and physical event, some of which will be live from Jamshedpur & Mayurbhanj, will be showcased as digital exhibition, walkthroughs, and lives on Substack & Instagram. We are also organising in person workshop at Climate Ed Summit organised by Asar on 3rd October.
