⛑️ Medical: A cornerstone of the bootcamp is eight hours of small-group wilderness first aid training. You’ll treat wounds, splint fractures, and practice scenarios where the skills you learn actually stick. The training is specifically tailored to prepare you for a variety of challenging situations, from remote outdoor emergencies to post-disaster scenarios, and even includes what to do if you are tear gassed during civil unrest.
🔥 Everything Fire: Ever pulled a pin on a fire extinguisher? You will. You’ll learn home fire risks, how to reduce them, what smoke really does to your lungs, and how to protect yourself from fire and smoke risks.
🎒 Go-Bags: Are you prepared for an evacuation notice and to run out the door? You’ll get to design, build and upgrade your own go-bag — from the obvious to the overlooked. Go-bags are not a shrink-wrapped one-size-fits-all necessity. This workshop will help you create a tailored go-bag that has exactly what you need.
🛜 Comms: When cell service fails, what do you do? We’ll learn about radios, group text trees, and backup systems that keep your people connected. We'll be covering the use of Starlinks, SatPhones, Satellite texting, Garmin InReach, and HAM & AM/FM radio.
🚘 Automotive: Disasters aren’t just rough on us, they’re also rough on our cars. Learn how to keep your vehicle ready in the face of breakdowns and bug-outs, including what tools to stash and what to do when the unexpected happens on the road. Your car can be your escape pod, but it can also derail you if you don’t know the basics of repair or how to navigate new hazards.
💧 Food & Water: This is about the tasty (and not-so-tasty) realities of emergency supplies. How much do you actually need? What do you keep in your go-bag vs. your reserve pantry? In this workshop, we’ll go over all things food + water, including how to store, when to rotate, and how to filter water for a variety of purposes. We will showcase different products you can test before you buy.
By the end, you’ll leave with new skills, new gear confidence, access to a directory of every product we demonstrate, an Amazon shopping list, personalized preparedness guides, and a community of people who’ve got your back.
