Montseny Hiking Escape
Step out of the city and into the mountains of Montseny.
Come spend the day in nature, move your body and make the most of spring in the Montseny mountains. We’re heading up to Turó de l’Home (1,700m+) for a guided hiking experience led by Jordi, a local host and safari guide who spends part of the year tracking mountain gorillas in Africa and the rest exploring the Montseny massif he calls home.
Join us for a small-group outdoor experience designed to step out of the city and into nature.
Once the group is confirmed, transportation to the starting point, located about one hour from Barcelona, will be coordinated to ensure a smooth arrival for everyone. The best option is to organise car sharing between participants/rental. There will also be the possibility of arranging private transport at an additional cost. Transport is self-paid.
The hike will last approximately 2–3 hours and is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all levels. The pace will be adapted to the group, with natural pauses to rest, take in the views and move comfortably together.
After the hike, we’ll gather for lunch at a local restaurant in Mosqueroles. Please note that lunch is not included in the event price and requires prior reservation.
A full mountain reset to welcome the season properly.

About the hike
The hike to Turó de l’Home is one of the most challenging routes in the Montseny Massif. The climb is long and often steep, so a good level of fitness is recommended. The trail passes through beautiful forests and gradually opens up to more exposed terrain near the top. From the summit (1,706 m), you’ll enjoy sweeping views across Montseny, and on clear days, you may even see the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.
Your Host: Jordi Monraba
I'm Jordi, and I live in a small village (Mosqueroles) in the Montseny Massif. I enjoy working as a safari guide in Africa, especially in the tropical rainforests of the Bwindi and Virunga regions, tracking mountain gorillas. I also really like doing all kinds of mountain sports.
If you like adventure and hiking, and you want to discover a wonderful environment in the Montseny Massif, follow me and we will climb to the top of Turó de l’Home, over 1,700 metres high.
Accept the challenge. See you in Montseny!
