Parenting with AI (w/ The AI Collective Kansas City)
Raising Thinkers in a Changing World
Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of everyday life — and many parents are unsure how to guide their children through it.
Parenting With AI is an interactive, facilitated roundtable designed to help families navigate this shift with clarity and confidence.
Rather than focusing only on fear, this session begins by addressing real concerns — including over-reliance on chatbots, misinformation, and the risk of skipping the struggle that builds learning — and then moves into something more important:
How AI can be used to support thinking, learning, and family connection.
Participants will engage in small group breakout discussions and return to the full group to share insights, creating a collaborative, parent-centered conversation.
Key Topics

• AI for Family Life — using AI for games, creativity, and learning at no cost
• Developing critical thinking, creativity, and real-world skills alongside AI
