Discover the art of pickling in this interactive, hands-on, playful workshop. You'll learn how to pickle anything and turn basic everyday vegetables into delicious flavor-packed pickles.
In this workshop, you’ll:
Learn the difference between refrigerator pickles vs fermented pickles - and make one of both
Experiment with different herbs, spices, and flavor combos to make your own signature jars
Take home 2 jars of your creations, ready to enjoy or gift to a friend
Explore fun flavor hacks, food pairings, and presentation tips
Leave with a pickling recipe card to recreate your favorite pickles at home
All supplies, ingredients, and tools are included — just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Come for just the pickling workshop, or create your pickles and stay for an assortment of pickles to try, paired with a delicious catered lunch from Lainie's farmers market meal service, Sage Local.

Lainie Clary is an LA private chef and educator passionate about community, sustainable food, and intuitive hands-on learning. Through cooking, gardening, and wellness-centered workshops, she creates approachable, joyful experiences that connect people to their food and to one another.
Her experience as a private chef and farmers market manager/educator in regenerative farms in Boston and in SoCal highlight her love of all things community, sustainability, food and farms.
