West Sussex: Tuppenny Barn
During this hands-on volunteer experience, we’ll support Tuppenny Barn with seasonal outdoor projects that help maintain the spaces used to provide hands-on environmental education for local school children.
The day will begin with an introduction and tour before volunteers get started on activities such as orchard picking and processing, fruit cage maintenance, or pond maintenance. Specific tasks will depend on the site’s needs and conditions that day, and volunteers’ work will help Tuppenny Barn continue creating engaging outdoor learning experiences for children.

What to Know Before You Go
What to wear: Please wear your Risepoint t-shirt with old clothes and outdoor footwear you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring rain gear and waterproof boots if the weather calls for it.
What to bring: Please bring a refillable water bottle. Tuppenny Barn prefers that visitors avoid bringing single-use plastics onsite.
Lunch: Lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
