About Event

Join our free live webinar hosted by CQURE Academy, featuring:

Paula Januszkiewicz - CEO of CQURE and CQURE Academy, Cybersecurity Expert & Red Teamer, Microsoft Regional Director, MVP, and MCT.

Sami Laiho - Windows OS Expert, Microsoft MVP,

Artur Kalinowski - Cybersecurity Expert, Penetration Tester.

Workstation security depends on how privileged access, authentication, endpoint configuration, and monitoring work together. This session connects these areas into a practical approach to designing workstations that resist attacks, with a complete checklist for deployment, assessment, and ongoing validation.

The Team will examine how to design and deploy Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs), separate administrative activity from everyday work, and identify configuration mistakes that weaken those boundaries. The session will also cover passkey deployment, including enrollment, device trust, account recovery, and fallback authentication, highlighting implementation choices that can undermine the intended protection.

Through practical demonstrations, you will explore workstation and identity misconfigurations, understand their impact, and connect each finding to specific hardening and detection measures. The session will address what to monitor and how: which authentication events, privilege changes, process activity, and security configuration changes matter; where to collect the relevant signals; and how to correlate endpoint and identity activity into actionable detections. Particular attention will be given to testing whether the expected evidence is actually collected and whether alerts trigger when controls are challenged.

You will leave with a complete, actionable checklist covering PAW design, passkey rollout, workstation hardening, configuration review, and monitoring validation. The goal is to give security and IT teams a repeatable process for prioritizing improvements and verifying that their workstation defenses work as intended.
