Key NASA Activities in/around DC (July 2026) hosted by NASA:
Great American State Fair (National Mall, June 25–July 10, 2026): NASA has a presence with exhibits, displays, and possible astronaut appearances showcasing space exploration, innovation, and ties to American history. This massive event on the Mall (from Capitol to Washington Monument) features state pavilions, rides, and themed days including innovation/aviation.
Salute to America Air Show & Fireworks (July 4):
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman (a pilot/astronaut) will fly his specially liveried "Freedom 250" F-5 fighter jet (along with other NASA jets) as part of the aerial demonstrations.
NASA is also providing imagery and video of rockets/history for the broader celebrations.
Media & Visual Contributions: NASA supplies historical and current footage/images (Apollo, Artemis, etc.) for events, emphasizing America's space legacy and future Moon/Mars ambitions.
Space Blue History Maker Exhibits :
.Who Are We?
We are made up of 222 history makers in the first ever USA private space mission preserving American music, art and culture in the Lunaprise Moon Museum, led by Space Blue. The payload sent to moon was a first ever tmecapsule and museum archiving and preserving the history making moments of American cinema, art, sports, and America's excellence in music on the moon landing on the South Pole of the moon on 2.22.2024. The capsule was launched atop SpaceX and was part of the first return to the moon for the USA and NASA since 1972. Future missions are also planned for 2026-2030.
