Nuzi will share lessons from building across consumer and digital health, what she’s learning on the founder path right now, and why women’s health needs better-designed systems, not just more point solutions. We’ll dig into how she approaches navigating ambiguity, early product decisions, and building signal and trust, before you have scale.
Nuzi Barkatally is a healthcare founder building a new company in women’s health. She has worked across consumer and digital health startups, including early roles at Dollar Shave Club and the children’s mental health startup Manatee. She is also the creator and host of HEALTHCARE by design, where she interviews builders, operators, clinicians, and investors working to redesign healthcare from the ground up.
Nuzi holds a Master’s of Research in Healthcare and Design from the Royal College of Art, where her work focused on the ethical implications of AI in healthcare. Currently powered by curiosity, meditation, and one too many cups of tea.
