About Event

Join Jeffrey Chernick and Alix Gitter, co-authors of High Five Energy: A Different Kind of Founder (#1 Amazon New Release), for High Five Energy Founders Podcast, a deep dive into the founder experience building category-defining companies with purpose and flow.

Our special guest is Samy Kamkar, co-founder of Openpath, the LA-based mobile access control company acquired by Motorola Solutions for $297 million. A self-taught hacker who dropped out of high school at 16, Samy co-founded Fonality at 17 and raised over $46 million. At 19 he wrote the MySpace "Samy" worm, which hit over one million profiles in under 20 hours and became the fastest-spreading virus of its time. His security research exposing hidden phone location tracking later sparked congressional hearings, and his hardware hacks are studied by security teams around the world.

Together, we'll explore how a hacker's mindset spots what everyone else misses, how Samy turned curiosity into companies, and what founders need to know about security in the age of AI. Walk away with clarity, strategy, and renewed energy to move forward.

Expect:

* Live, unfiltered conversation and audience Q&A
* Real founder stories and behavioral insights
* A creative, high-vibe crowd of builders and believers
* Networking, breakfast, and community energy before and after the show

Come for the advice. Stay for the flow.

Based on the book "High Five Energy: A Different Kind of Founder."
