Eligibility & Selection
Q. Who is the best fit for the All-Access Pass PLUS+?
A. The Tech Weekend All-Access Pass PLUS+ is best suited for founders who are post-product, raising in 2025, and working in frontier technologies such as AI, Deep Tech, Health Tech, Fintech, Climate Tech, Biotech, EdTech, Dual-Use Tech, and Quantum.
Q. What is the selection process?

Fill out the Luma registration form.
Our team reviews your application.
If we’d like to learn more, we’ll schedule a short Zoom call to better understand your startup.
In some cases, if the written application provides enough clarity, we may make a selection decision without a call.
Q. When will I find out if I’m selected?
A. You’ll hear back within 1–3 days of completing your Luma registration.
Q. Do I need to be incorporated to apply?
A. No. As long as you’re working on any frontier technology, you’re welcome to apply for Tech Weekend.
Q. Can international founders apply?
A. Yes. We welcome founders from around the world. Many of our investors have a global outlook, and we’re excited to include international startups in the cohort.
Q. Can I apply if I’m not actively fundraising yet?
A. If you’re not raising right now, the All-Access Pass is the best fit. You’ll still get to connect with other founders, attend VC panels, and participate fully in the community.
The All-Access Pass PLUS+ is specifically for founders who are fundraising in 2025.
Q. Can I upgrade my All-Access Pass to an All-Access Pass PLUS+ later?
A. Yes — as long as applications are still open and spots are available.

VC Interactions & Pitching
Q. If selected for the Tech Weekend All-Access Pass PLUS+, how many VC meetings can I expect?
A. Each Tech Weekend hosts 30 to 40 venture capital investors.
Over 2 days, you can expect to chat with 10–15 investors through VC Office Hours, VC Panels, the Pitch Competition, and networking sessions.
We focus on quality matches — connecting founders with investors aligned by stage and industry focus.
Q. When can I sign up for VC Office Hours?
A. The VC Office Hours calendar will open on November 15 and remain open until November 30.
You’ll receive the signup link by email from [email protected], so please keep an eye out for our messages.
Q. How are VC matches made?
A. Matches are based on industry alignment and stage fit with investor focus.
We make every effort to ensure each founder in the All-Access Pass PLUS+ group secures 5–10 quality VC interactions during Tech Weekend.
Q. Who can pitch in the competition?
A. Only founders selected for the All-Access Pass PLUS+ are eligible to apply.
Once accepted, you’ll receive a welcome email with the link to apply.
We’ll select 5–7 startups to pitch on Day 1 and 5–7 on Day 2.

Q. What’s included in the Exhibitor Pass?
A. The Exhibitor Pass includes:

5 All-Access Team Passes for your team to join panels, networking, and activities

Q. Is a group discount available?
A. Yes. Each founder needs their own pass, but we offer group discounts:
Up to 20% off for teams of 3 founders
Up to 30% off for groups of 5 founders

Q. Will food and drinks be provided?
A. Yes. We provide light breakfast, lunch, coffee, and refreshments during the day, plus food and drinks during evening mixers.
All-Access Pass PLUS+ holders have meals and beverages covered for both days.
Q. Which investors will be there?
A. We’ll continue to share the list of investors on our event page as we get closer to the date.
Expect a mix of seed and Series A VCs, angel investors, and ecosystem partners across AI, fintech, health tech, climate, deep tech, and more.
Refunds & Credits
Q. What is the refund policy?
A.
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.
After that, we can offer a full credit toward the next Tech Weekend.
Once you’ve attended the event, we cannot issue refunds or credits.
