​A youth-led climate awareness programme connecting generations through green storytelling and creative waste-management activities in Wayanad.

​Green Storytelling: Students from across Wayanad will explore how the district’s climate, environment, livelihoods, and lifestyles have changed over generations. They will interview senior farmers, climate experts, and senior citizens to document their experiences and memories of past environmental and climatic conditions. Students will compile these stories into a five-minute video presentation highlighting changes in climate and the environment, their impacts on people’s lives, and their own learnings. The best video will receive a cash award, and selected submissions will be shared through Aimsway Foundation’s social media platforms to increase public awareness about climate change in Wayanad. Reject, Reuse, Recycle: Students will participate in an activity-based programme focused on responsible waste management. They will collect discarded materials from their surroundings, sort them through an interactive game, and creatively transform them into useful or value-added products. The programme will conclude with a display of the creations and a reflection session where students share what they learned about reducing waste, reuse, recycling, and environmental protection.
