Portfolio is one of your most important career assets, yet most designers spend weeks building one that looks like everyone else’s, wrestling with templates, second-guessing decisions, and never finishing.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to use Lovable to plan, design, and build a modern portfolio that's faster to create, genuinely personal, and high in quality. You'll work through visual direction, prompting strategy, and building real portfolio sections during the session itself.
Led by Florian Boelter, Staff Product Designer at Juro, founder of Open Doors, and Lovable Ambassador. Florian has been building products with AI-assisted workflows since the earliest days of modern coding agents and uses Lovable extensively across his own projects.
You'll leave with a working portfolio foundation, a reusable prompting workflow, and a prompt library to keep building confidently after the session.

Learn a practical end-to-end workflow for planning and building a portfolio with Lovable, from first concept to live sections.
Use Lovable features like Skills and Plan mode, plus advanced prompting techniques, to produce higher-quality outputs that transfer to other AI coding tools.
Develop a stronger visual direction by working through typography choices, color systems, and curated inspiration.
Build key portfolio sections live during the session that form the foundation of a complete, personalized portfolio.
Understand how to maintain code ownership through GitHub sync and continue developing your portfolio outside of Lovable.

Introduction & Portfolio Foundations (10 min): What makes a strong portfolio today, what you'll build during the session, and an overview of the full workflow.
Lovable Skills & Better AI Outputs (10 min): Introduction to Skills in Lovable, why they improve output quality, and how to create a stronger foundation before you start building.
Planning Your Portfolio Direction (15 min): Defining your visual direction, gathering inspiration, choosing typography and colors, and structuring your content and sections.
Prompt Creation & Portfolio Strategy (10 min): Using AI to craft stronger prompts, planning directly inside Lovable, and creating a build-ready portfolio prompt.
Building the Portfolio (35 min): Building sections live in Lovable, iterating on design and layout, improving visual quality, with live Q&A and troubleshooting throughout.
Polish, GitHub Sync & Next Steps (10 min): Final refinements, understanding GitHub sync, keeping ownership of your code, hosting options, and common next steps after the workshop.
