BlueRobins, a UC Berkeley SkyDeck Pad-13 company, partners with AI Kiran and UC Berkeley organizations, including CSUA, CALICO, and B-BAY, to host a summit showcasing youth innovation across AI and 15+ interdisciplinary domains, including engineering, life sciences, sustainability, hardware, design, and emerging technologies.
Students ages 8–18 (Grades 3–12) present projects through posters, live demos, showcases, and a high-school pitch competition while participating in hands-on workshops, build labs, and mentor circles with UC Berkeley students. The summit also features keynotes, panels, and conversations with leading technologists, researchers, and entrepreneurs shaping the future of AI and learning.
YAIS is designed as a national stage for young builders — where students share ideas, experiment with new technologies, and connect with mentors and innovators from UC Berkeley and the Silicon Valley ecosystem.
Separate registrations are available for students and for parents, educators, and professionals attending the summit. In accordance with UC Berkeley policy, minor students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or educator.
Parents/Educators need to accompany their minor student/s at all times during the event.
