​Kickoff

​Join us for a kickoff event for the single stair student design competition! The event will feature a lecture by Michael Eliason, RA, on single stair code reform.

​Michael is the founder and principal of Larch Lab. He is a researcher, writer, urbanist, and architect based in Seattle. He is a licensed architect, holds a B.Arch from Virginia Tech, and has been an advocate and consultant for Passivhaus buildings for over a decade. He is also the author of ‘Building For People’ (Island Press 2024).

​RSVPs are required. Space is limited, and attendance from students, faculty, and mentors will be prioritized. The general public should register their interest in advance. Video recording will be available. Light refreshments provided.
