CO2 Forward 2025: South Asia's Premier CDR Summit

​India stands at the forefront of the next frontier in climate action – durable carbon dioxide removal (CDR). With abundant natural resources, a strong scientific and entrepreneurial base, and rising national ambition, India is uniquely positioned to become a global supply hub for high-integrity, low-cost CDR that delivers both global mitigation impact and domestic co-benefits.

​CO₂ Forward 2025, hosted by The Carbon Removal India Alliance (CRIA) and supported by The Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation, marks the next phase in building India’s carbon removal ecosystem. Following the success of Carbon Reset 2024, this year’s edition pivots from dialogue to implementation.

​The summit will bring together leaders from government, industry, science, finance, and philanthropy to co-develop a national strategy for durable carbon removal. Sessions will explore scalable CDR pathways, market integrity and standards, financing and corporate demand, and policy frameworks.

​By convening the global and domestic CDR community, CO₂ Forward 2025 aims to accelerate investment, innovation, and collaboration – positioning India not just as a participant but as a driving force in the global carbon removal economy.
