From Google I/O to Agents Era: Build Apps from Design to Deployment
Join GDG on Campus UNSW for a hands-on workshop inspired by the latest Google I/O updates.
In this session, we’ll explore how Google’s newest AI tools are changing the way developers design, build and deploy applications. You’ll get a quick recap of Google I/O, then follow a practical demo showing how to move from UI design with Google Stitch, to frontend and backend development with Google Antigravity, to AI-powered features with Google AI Studio and Gemini, and finally to deployment.
This will be a practical builder session for those who want to understand how modern AI-native app development works from end to end.
Google I/O 2026 highlighted new models, agents and developer tools, including updates around Gemini, Antigravity, Google AI Studio and Stitch, making this a timely session for students interested in AI-powered product building.
