Six ways AI reshapes your organization

When AI causes problems inside an organization, it doesn't announce itself. There's no memo, no meeting where someone says "let's let the tool set our strategy."
Instead there are small accommodations: a reviewer signs off a little faster than she used to, three program officers who used to argue a borderline grant from three angles now agree before anyone says much of anything, a claim in a docket memo traces back to an AI summary of an AI summary of a call nobody remembers. Each accommodation is reasonable on its own. That's what makes these patterns so hard to see.
This one-hour workshop introduces six of them:
Doom loops — the model's outputs become its next inputs, and the org's past trains its future
Deference and deskilling — staff stop exercising the judgment the tool appears to supply
Convergence — plural framings and divergent perspectives collapse to one
Accountability washing — "the system recommended it," and the trail of who decided what disappears into the model
Capture and control — the organization reshapes itself around the tool's logic, one accommodation at a time
Epistemic narrowing — the range of what the org can know contracts to what AI can render
In one hour, we'll:
Walk through what each pattern looks like in practice using cases you'll recognize from your own shop.
Name the early signals that a pattern is forming
Leave with a tactic for interrupting each one before it hardens into "just how we work now"
