About Event
This is the first meeting of our non-fiction book club! Bring your favourite non-fiction book (or the one you’re currently reading) and we’ll use it as a way to get to know one another!
You don’t need to be an academic, just bring your curiosity and an open mind :)
The group focuses on books that invite interpretive discussion about the humanities (society, culture, politics, history, philosophy, gender studies, etc). For this reason, we generally don’t select STEM books (i.e. no maths, physics, technical textbooks or anything requiring technical or empirical analysis)
