​Join us for our special Earth Day Climate Café!

​Theme: "The Beautiful Dance of Climate Mitigation & Adaptation Solutions"

​Come early to hear an official welcome at 11:15 from an Indigenous Elder and Mayor Leonard Krog in the main auditorium. Then we'll move into an adjacent room to start our Café at 11:30.

​-Deanna Fourt, NCAH Board Director, who recently completed her MA in Climate Action Leadership, will open up the Café with a talk on "Miyawaki Mini Forests as a Climate Solution"

​-We'll then play with the relationship between climate mitigation and adaptation solutions in an interactive game

​-We'll conclude with social time, and for those who can stay past 1:00, we'll venture outside for a walk in Bowen's majestic forest
