About Event

Most Canadian businesses are aware of SR&ED but have little visibility into the broader landscape of government funding available to them. Federal and provincial programs covering hiring, commercialization, capital investment, R&D, and business growth exist, and when combined strategically, they can significantly increase the non-dilutive support a company receives without giving up equity.

This masterclass is designed for Canadian businesses developing innovative products, technologies, software, or processes, as well as companies looking to scale and invest in growth.

This session with File and Claim goes beyond the programs most companies already know about. Attendees will get practical guidance on how to identify and access opportunities through OMMITC, NRC IRAP, Mitacs, and a range of other federal and provincial funding programs, as well as how to combine them effectively to maximize the total support available at each stage of growth.

Attendees leave with a clearer picture of what they qualify for beyond the obvious, what the application process looks like for each program, and how to build a funding strategy that keeps more equity in their hands.

This session is part of the Global Startups 10th Anniversary Masterclass Series. As part of our week-long celebration, we invited select members of our community to share their expertise with a live audience. File and Claim is one of those members, and this is their opportunity to open the door to a direct conversation with the Canadian businesses ready to access the full range of funding available to them.
