RePlay Alexandria: Shipaton Edition is a four-hour, in-person app-development sprint for people who want to turn an idea into something real using AI tools.
You do not need previous app-development experience. Beginners will receive a clear structure and support to get started, while experienced developers, designers, founders, and technical builders are encouraged to join, move fast, and help strengthen the room.
Come with an idea, join someone else’s project, or discover what to build when you arrive. The goal is simple: leave with a working app or prototype you can demonstrate.
What to Expect
Pick the Problem
Meet the room, find teammates if you want them, and turn a useful or delightfully unusual idea into something you can build in four hours.
Shape the Solution
Choose your AI tools, define the simplest useful version, and focus on one clear experience you can complete.
Build With AI
Prompt, prototype, design, test, debug, and iterate. Support from fellow builders and technical participants will be available when you get stuck.
Ship and Show
Put your app in someone else’s hands and present a short live demonstration. This is not a slide-deck competition. We want to see what you made.
