Birth Stories
Every birth is its own story, and many of us never get the chance to fully process ours before we're thrown into newborn parenthood.
Birth Stories is a therapist-led gathering for new moms and dads in Amsterdam to talk about their birth experiences. Whether your story was joyful, overwhelming, complicated (or all of the above) we'll provide the space for all of us to discuss our pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood journeys together.
What to expect
A small community gathering in a safe, welcoming room
A facilitated conversation and exercises led by Rachael Forster, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist (and head of MamaSocial!)
Chance for the babies to play while you meet, with a fellow mom (Alex from APP) looking after them
Tea, coffee, and cookies provided
Note: We ask whether you identify as a mom, dad, or other parent so that we can provide the right facilitators for the circles. Dads are very much encouraged to come — all parents experience birth ❤️
