Beyond Hack is a monthly, highly curated meet-up for people building (or aspiring to join) a healthtech startup in Thailand and Southeast Asia. The event designed to create real outcomes: teams formed, pilots unlocked, and startups shaped into investment- and grant-ready companies.

This month’s featured speaker - Khun Teera Kanokkanjanarat (M)

Khun Teera Kanokkanjanarat (M) — CEO and Co-Founder of Arincare, Thailand's largest digital pharmacy platform. Over the past decade Arincare has grown from a piece of pharmacy software into infrastructure that thousands of pharmacies run on every day, now supporting 6,000+ registered pharmacies and 12,000+ pharmacists nationwide, alongside a B2B pharma marketplace, e-prescription, and telepharmacy services. The company recently closed a Series B+ round led by Taiwania Hive Ventures — the kind of internationally-backed raise that is still rare for a Thai healthtech founder.

Topic: From First Pharmacy to Series B+: Arincare's Journey

A candid fireside chat about the founder journey. From starting a pharmacy tech company before healthtech was even a category in Thailand, through the hard years of building network effects with small pharmacies, to becoming trusted infrastructure and raising international capital. What it actually takes to survive, stay alive, and scale a healthtech company here over a decade.

Some questions we'll cover

  • What made you start a pharmacy software company back when healthtech wasn't really a thing in Thailand?

  • Looking back, which years were the hardest, and what nearly killed the company?

  • Platforms have a chicken-and-egg problem — pharmacies won't join without suppliers, suppliers won't join without pharmacies. How did you break that?

  • Your users are small pharmacies with thin margins. How did you figure out a business model that works?

  • You've raised from Thai strategics like CHG and PTG, and now from international VCs. How does fundraising differ across those, and what did each round teach you?

  • Big healthtech rounds are still rare in Thailand. What does it really take to get one done here?

  • What would you tell a founder in year two or three who's grinding and still can't see the network effects kicking in?
