Join us at Northern-Southern for the screening of Ifeyinwa (2025), a 13-minute short by Jay Ikechukwu Okoroafo, Nigerian-American filmmaker and founder of Homebodi Archive— an ongoing memory project rooted in activating family archives across the diaspora through film, sound, and gathering.
Guests are invited to bring family photographs to scan post-screening.
The film traces their mother’s journey from Enugu, Nigeria, to Houston, TX using family photographs, VHS footage, and interviews to explore themes of memory, family, and migration.
