Speakers
Email verification without the verification email By Phil Nash — Dev Rel at Resend
Zach Jensz — Software Engineer
Email verification without the verification email
When users register or subscribe you need to prove they control the email address they entered. That typically requires sending a verification email, sending the user away to their inbox, and hoping they return. The Email Verification Protocol is a proposed API that has the browser communicate with the email provider to verify the user's ownership of the address without them navigating away. We'll look at how to implement this API, the benefits of the approach, and what it will take to see this in production.
What to expect
Talks from people working at the intersection of auth, email, and modern web development
Space for attendees to demo their apps and side projects
Informal conversations, questions, and networking
Food, drinks, and Clerk swag
Whether you’re already using Clerk, evaluating it, or just curious about modern auth patterns — you’re welcome.
