WHAT WE CARRY (Session 4): Navigating Money & Financial Stress
How have our Southeast Asian immigrant/refugee families’ experiences with survival, scarcity, and financial insecurity shaped our relationship with money today?
In this session, we’ll how financial insecurity, limited access to resources, and money trauma can shape our relationships with money, including how we earn, spend, save, give, and care for ourselves and others.
Together, we’ll reflect on the messages we inherited about money and explore ways to navigate financial responsibilities without carrying them alone.
