Safal Ekatr Pilot: Celebrating Sikh Creatives
About Safal Safal is a New York based non-profit organization that provides resources for dormant changemakers to build institutions that serve humanity, promote unity, and cultivate abundance for their community in a space that allows them to try boldly, fail safely, and evolve.
Ekatr (ਇਕੱਤਰ) ਇਕੱਤਰ / ekatr — to come together. The Ekatr Pilot marks the start of the Safal pop-up series where we make an effort to regularly engage with the greater community.
Celebrating Sikh Creatives The pilot event of Ekatr (ਇਕੱਤਰ) begins with us celebrating Sikh artists, musicians, poets, and brands.
Supporting the arts is how our community can begin to shape its future. From the stories we tell, the music we create, and to the brands that we build, we can decide how our culture lives.
We are creating a space for the Sikh community to show these artists that their ideas deserve space and their talent is worth our investment. When we create art, we make it possible for our community to set new standards and influence culture. And we give the opportunity the future generations to see themselves as creators too.
What to Expect An intimate and cozy baithak-style gathering for Sikhs to mingle, learn from each other, and connect with art. Light bites included.
