Porto Valley hike & Belgian waffles 🌄🥾🧇

​Join us for a beautiful afternoon in Portola Valley as we combine nature, community, and a Belgian classic. 🧇

​We’ll start with a group hike at 2:00 PM, exploring the stunning rolling hills and scenic trails that make Portola Valley so special in late spring. Expect open views, golden landscapes, and that soft California light that only gets better as the day unfolds. 🖼️

​Rough Schedule

• ​2:00 PM – Meet at trailhead & start (easy) hike

• ​⁠4:30 PM – Finish hike & head to the house

• ​5:00 PM – Garden hangout, drinks & waffles, sunset views

• ​9:00 PM – Wrap up

​After the hike, we’ll regroup at the garden of one of our BCNC members’ homes nearby. We’ll relax, enjoy freshly made waffles, catch up with fellow members, and watch the sun dip behind the hills (sunset is around 8:20 PM in late May). 🌄

​It’s an informal, outdoorsy, and cosy way to spend a Saturday, reconnecting with the Belgian community and friends of Belgium in Northern California. 🇧🇪

​Bring:

• ​A light jacket for after sunset

• ​Something to drink to share (optional)
