Common Hymnal - Bay Area Soirée
Common Hymnal was created as an online library of songs, stories, and ideas from the spiritual underground, to help people navigate these uncertain times and find safe passage into the future. Common Hymnal channels an ecosystem of displaced creatives from the margins of Christianity towards a justice-centered movement in which praise and protest live side by side.
In this moment, we feel the deep longing for exilic Jesus followers to gather together in joy, lament, hope, and resilience. More than ever, we reaffirm the power of music and art to comfort the disheartened, embolden the courageous, and transform the culture towards reawakening. We hope this event will bring celebration, connection, and renewal, while centering and uplifting the community.
