Growing a Generation of Environmental Stewards Through Education, Service and Community Action
What if one act of service could nurture a learner, restore the environment, and inspire a generation to take responsibility for our shared future?
The One Tree, One Volunteer for the Bible Campaign is a community-driven initiative connecting educational support, volunteerism, and environmental stewardship. It seeks to transform a simple idea into meaningful action by encouraging volunteers, schools, and communities to embrace education, plant indigenous trees, and take responsibility for protecting the environment.
Through collaboration between Every Birthday Tree Day Initiative (EBTDI) and Teso Parents Nursery & Primary School, subject to the partners' agreed arrangements, the campaign aims to build a culture in which learning inspires service and environmental action creates a lasting community legacy.
🌳 PLANT TREES: Promote indigenous tree planting, environmental education, and ongoing seedling care.
📖 SUPPORT EDUCATION: Connect the provision of available Bibles with values-based learning, responsibility, and service.
🤝 MOBILISE VOLUNTEERS: Empower learners, educators, parents, and community members to participate in practical environmental action.
📊 MEASURE IMPACT: Track volunteer participation, seedlings planted, tree survival, and continuing school-based stewardship activities.
