Abstracts:
Visualizing video game telemetry without breaking the bank
Games generate massive data streams, and many game studios rely on Kafka to ingest it. Cost is a limiting factor on the granularity of data they can collect, but more data leads to better decision making and a better player experience. Replacing traditional kafka with Confluent Freight clusters will reduce the cost of telemetry ingestion and still allow Studios to use downstream tools, like Elastic Cloud, to work with the data in near real time. Attendees will learn about the integration of Elastic Cloud and Confluent Freight, as well as gain some insights into what makes their favorite games come to life.
MCP: The Missing Piece in AI Agent Workflows
We will delve into how MCP serves as the "missing piece" in current AI agent architectures, enabling them to move beyond static, pre-trained knowledge to perform complex, adaptive tasks. The protocol defines a set of rules for contextual deficit detection, dynamic knowledge retrieval, and intelligent context integration.
Attendees will discover how MCP allows agents to proactively identify gaps in their understanding, query external data sources or human experts, and seamlessly incorporate new information into their decision-making process. Through practical examples and live demonstrations, we will showcase how implementing MCP can drastically improve the performance, reliability, and autonomy of your AI agent systems. Join us to learn how MCP can unlock the full potential of your AI agents, making them truly intelligent and context-aware collaborators.
Automating Synthetic Monitoring with Warp, Gemini & MCP
This talk will guide you through the process of creating an application that automatically generates playwright browser tests for use with Elastic Synthetics, as well as explore the opportunities and challenges of developing with MCP. You will learn how, using MCP, you can create a plugin for Warp (an AI-assisted terminal) that will allow you to quickly create browser tests in minutes.
