Town Hall COP Santa Lucía: Clean Energy, Resilient Communities and Climate Justice from the Santa Lucía River Wetlands

​The Town Hall COP will bring together community, environmental and educational organizations, specialists, young people, residents and government representatives to explore how the transition to clean and affordable energy can strengthen local communities while protecting the ecosystems that sustain them.

​Using the Santa Lucía River Wetlands, Ciudad del Plata and Playa Pascual as its territorial starting point, the event will connect the impacts of climate change and flooding with community conservation experiences, renewable energy and opportunities for a just energy transition. The conversation is designed to move from local experiences and challenges toward solutions and concrete commitments.
