Quant Sauna Fest — Where Traders Meet Capital, hosted by Bequant & WhiteBIT
Capital introduction is what Bequant does. Every day, we connect quant traders running real strategies with the allocators looking to back them — family offices, fund-of-funds, token treasuries, emerging-manager seeders. Quant Sauna Fest is that work, condensed into a single evening, in a Finnish spa we’ve taken over for the day — co-hosted with WhiteBIT, Europe’s largest exchange by traffic.
40 vetted quants. 15 active allocators. A 90°C sauna, a 10°C plunge pool, a Nordic kitchen, a chess tournament, and a long dinner table where the seating chart is built around your mandate.
No panels. No booths. No slide decks pushed at anyone. Just the people you want to meet, in the place you want to meet them.
For quants: a real conversation about capital — both with Bequant directly (we back traders we believe in from $100K to $5M as they prove out) and with the allocators in the room. We do the introductions before you arrive.
For allocators: a pre-screened pipeline of managers we’d put our own money behind, plus curated dinner placement next to the three or four who actually fit your mandate. The diligence work is already done.
The day in three movements:
🧖 15:00 – 17:00 — Soft open. Arrivals, first sauna round, chess tournament opening rounds, one-on-one rooms open.
🎤 17:00 – 19:00 — Official program. Welcome from George Zarya (CEO, Bequant), a sponsor talk from WhiteBIT and our quant tech partner, a 45-minute candid conversation between George and two leading allocators on how they screen managers and what 2026 looks like, then the chess final.
🍽️ 19:30 – 00:00 — Dinner & late sauna. A single-seating Nordic dinner with curated placement, then a closing sauna round and DJ set until midnight.
Phones in lockers during sauna rounds. Chatham House everywhere else.
