Accent Society Refund & Cancellation Policy

All registrations, ticket purchases, course enrollments, workshop fees, memberships, and program fees are 

Once a purchase has been completed, Accent Society is unable to issue refunds, credits, or cancellations for any reason, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts, travel delays, illness, personal emergencies, changes in availability, or failure to attend.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to 

resell or transfer your ticket or registration to another person

Participants are responsible for arranging any resale or transfer independently. Accent Society is not responsible for facilitating ticket transfers, processing payments between participants, or verifying resale transactions.

Accent Society reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, modify programming, or change event formats when necessary. If Accent Society cancels an event or course and no alternative date is offered, participants will receive a full refund.

Refunds issued under exceptional circumstances, when approved solely at Accent Society's discretion, may be subject to deductions for non-refundable third-party processing fees, including payment processing fees, platform fees, and international transaction fees.

By registering for or purchasing any event, course, workshop, membership, or program offered by Accent Society, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

The Ring of Daisies is our first-ever open mic series.

What started as a makeshift open mic stage at

NYCPOFEST — literal daisies carefully arranged in a semi-circle on the hot July grass - can now bloom and shine with all the seasons.

In partnership with@accentsisters, join us each quarter for a night of poetry and art from PSNY members, festival-goers and friends old and new.

Unlike other open mics in NYC, the Ring of Daisies includes art activations, collaborative writing activities, and an opportunity to connect and reconnect with your favorite poetry festival community.

Never been to the NYC Poetry Festival? Not a PSNY Member? Not a problem! This event series is open to everyone, though priority sign-ups will be given to members - we encourage you to become a member today, it's just $5/month!

Consider this space your very own field of daisies - wild, brilliant, warm, and open to the sun's ever-encouraging spotlight.

A signup sheet will be sent to members who register ahead of the event. Everyone else is welcome to sign up first-come, first-serve, onsite!
