​The Spoken Interaction is where many students lose marks — not because they have nothing to say, but because they give short, safe answers that never go anywhere. The examiner asks a follow-up, and the response trails off into "I think so..." territory.

In this 2-hour workshop, Master Teacher Steven Sim shows students how to hold their own in the discussion segment — responding with substance, structure, and the kind of depth that pushes answers into the top band.

✔ How to build mature, well-supported answers on the spot — using the P.E.E.R.S. framework to extend responses beyond one or two sentences into fully developed perspectives

✔ Strategies for handling different question types — whether the examiner asks you to agree or disagree, compare, suggest solutions, or reflect on personal experience

✔ The shift from "answering questions" to "having a discussion" — what it looks like when a student moves beyond the prompts, and how examiners reward that initiative

Through question drills and worked examples based on real O-Level topics, students will practise thinking on their feet and delivering the kind of responses that examiners remember.
