Join us at Long Dark House for an evening of Appalachian folk horror & gothic romance as we welcome Andrew K. Clark, author of Hollow Folk, for an intimate author conversation and book signing!

About the Book (Onsale now instore!)

The night shift at the Holloway was supposed to be quiet.

When graduate student Ethan Ray takes a job as night auditor at an aging Appalachian mountain resort, he expects paperwork, silence, and a paycheck. Instead, strange reddish-brown lights fill the sky, silent winds whip through the trees, and mysterious owl gargoyles begin to move.

At 3 a.m., every clock stops.

Trapped inside with his coworkers, Kal and Teresa, Ethan discovers that the hotel isn't simply old. It's a boundary between worlds, and something ancient has finally awakened.

Blending gothic romance with Appalachian folk horror, Hollow Folk is a haunting tale of ancient forces, hidden secrets, and the darkness waiting in the mountains.
