About Event
The chromatics of belonging and taking up space explores how we use color and sensory elements to organize, understand, and feel connected to our personal spaces, memories, and society. It combines our physical possessions with the colors of those items to shape our sense of identity and belonging.
We're bringing together a multi-dimensional panel to dissect Kerry James Marshall’s groundbreaking work. Learn from contemporary artists who build on his legacy, curators/critics who contextualize his place in history, and scholars/institutional leaders focused on systemic representation.
