Here, we’ll talk about the journey behind the dishes - the courage to begin, the effort to grow, and the constant balancing act between art and enterprise. We’ll explore how small food ventures can find their voice, build visibility, and stay rooted in authenticity -without losing the joy that started it all.
Initiator’s Intent
It began under a tree.

She wasn’t chasing a business idea that day. She was chasing curiosity - to see if strangers would love her food the way her friends did.
By the end of the evening, every plate was empty, every review heartfelt. That day under the tree became the start of something much bigger - The Platter Co.
Today, she curates food platters and grazing tables for homes, birthdays, and corporate gatherings - each one a small celebration of creativity, connection, and colour.
Through this circle, she wants to bring together people who find meaning in making - who see food not just as a product, but as an expression of love and care.
It’s a space to share experiences of growing a small food venture - from finding the first customer to finding your flavour - and to remind one another that good things take time, heart, and a little bit of spice.
